I've got to say, this ended a lot more optimistically than I thought it would after all that family time, and I couldn't be happier about that. Those are some answered prayers right there, if I ever saw any. I am really glad things are looking up for you, even if the road ahead is still uncertain. ahh Steve...next time you are in Wake Forest, stop by St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. When I saw the statue you left with your wife, my heart quickened. The statue they have is Mary, Seat of Wisdom. It is a beautiful church. Much solace I have found there. A man there gave me the Surrender prayer (Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything) It took a couple of years to learn surrender, still learning, but man alive, what a difference. God loves us so much and I know you will learn more because...
From one who has spent her life primarily in Phoenix, I’m so envious of your eventual return to Virginia. My granddaughter is enjoying her second year of college at Christendom in Front Royal. The pictures that I see of that area just break my heart with their beauty! I plan to visit her in the spring and see historic Williamsburg. Many of us follow your journey with great interest, we are praying for you and want you to know how much we support you. God bless you and your efforts Steve.

My old stomping grounds! Mt Vernon HS when my USAF dad was brought stateside from Turkey. And then UVa.
I've driven through there. You can drive through four states in 20 minutes.
Continue to move forward....you are still in the tunnel, but the light at the end of the tunnel is growing brighter.
