I realize that what I write now, you've heard hundreds of times. Not just you, but countless have heard the warnings, read the books....actually listened to lectures and aligned with others of like mind.
And then, we shelved it. We lived as if every thing was fine, minus the bumps in the road of life.
My Mom, God rest her soul, had me read books up the ying yang about Communism....their tactics....sleeper cells. I knew more about potential "dangers" than I did about the Beatles.
Fast forward 7 decades.
This time, the danger is world wide. No where to run, no where to hide.
It's Biblical....it's the result of ignoring to our peril the warnings of Our Blessed Mother.
I always remember hearing this Jewish lady who lived in the West Bank who had a Palestinian man who regularly did handyman work on their house, who they loved and were very friendly with, saying that one day she had asked him, "If we go to war, would you..." and he cut her off saying, "Don't ask." It was clear he would kill them if war came.
Still, random Muslims doing violence is quite different from sleeper cells who were trained to do far more dangerous things than knife attacks. One could hope they would no longer follow orders after living here long enough, but I wouldn't count on it.
Haven't the Iranian people suffered enough? Haven't the Cubans? Haven't the Mexicans? Still, there will be blowback, large and small. I don't see how the two sides agree on the outcome of the midterms since we haven't trued-the-vote yet, and may not in time for the all-important midterm elections.
It's in Marian prophesy that there will be cataclysmic events occuring soon (see Fatima and Akita) and that the church would become counterfeit at the top (Lasallette, Good Success). Padre Pio also saw this time (he said there would be a counterfeit church). So many people are praying for happy outcomes in all 3 places (Iran, MEX and Cuba) that I have hope. I even have hope for the Vatican, but the RCC may have to "hide out" in the SSPX for a time, and the SSPX clergy and laity get excommunicated for doing so. Apparently the Vatican is going to focus on wrecking the Eastern rite services (as they have the TLM). Fernandez, Martin, Rupkin and Leo need to go or repent and convert to the traditional faith as handed down through the last two millenium.
As far as terrorism goes, well a lot of my family is in NYC, so I'm going there shortly to be ready to get them out if needed (CV was the dressed rehearsal). I'm not getting any particular "signs," but an evil age asks for a sign. Jesus said "can't you judge the signs of the times?" It just seems common sense to expect a global "unhappy" reaction to such huge events unleashed by the US military and President. Do I favor what's being done? Yes, I think I do, because I think the Iranian people have suffered enough, the Cuba people have suffered enough, and the Mexican people have suffered enough. If I had a magic wand, I'd waive it over Starmer, Macron, and the head of Germany. I'd "magic wand" Xi, Putin and Kim Jung Il into early retirement. Everyone wants to rule the world.
Has the USA suffered enough? Apparently not, because Mitch McConnell and John Thune are making sure the SAVE Act doesn't get passed. There's a reason Mitch McConnell is called "China Mitch." These GOP leaders want to assure that elections continue to be stollen. Shame on them. The SCOTUS is making plenty of bad calls as well. That's enough for now.
