Welcome back to another addition of The Skojec File’s Friday Roundup, where I share some of the most interesting things I’ve been reading over the past week.
This week has been chock full of UFO/UAP-related news, so I’m going to be linking to a bunch of items in that category this time around. I’ve chosen to break some of that out into distinct segments under their own subheadings where multiple links apply.
Hope you enjoy the info!
Former US Intelligence Official Claims the American Government is in Possession of Non-Human Vehicles and their Pilots
This week began with a banger: Last Sunday, David Grusch, a US Airforce and military intelligence veteran who worked on the official UAP Task Force for the Pentagon came forward in a televised interview with award-winning investigative journalist Ross Coulthart with claims that the US government has been covering up a crash-retrieval program designed to gather materials from vehicles made by “non-human intelligences” for nearly a century. Grusch also says that non-human bodies have been recovered from some of these craft, that factions within the government have gone to extreme lengths to cover up these programs, and that the information about them has been illegally withheld from Congress and others with a need to know, to say nothing of the American people.

Journalist Michael Shellenberger claimed in an interview on the Michael Shermer Show (#359) that he has learned the names of the crash retrieval programs within the US Government and has spoken to sources who were direct witnesses to the craft; also discusses Grusch’s credibility and aspects of secrecy/coverup.

The Galileo Project is Combing the Bottom of the Pacific For Fragments of an Interstellar Meteor They Theorize May Include Extra-Terrestrial Tech
"Today, Ryan Weed and Jeff Wynn analyzed in detail this unexpected wire and concluded that its composition is anomalous compared to human-made alloys."
- Harvard Astronomer and Galileo Project head, Avi Loeb
This is the sciencey part of the search for evidence of extra-terrestrial life. Avi Loeb has a PhD in plasma physics and is now the Frank B. Baird Jr. Professor of science at Harvard and formerly served as head of the Harvard Astronomy Department. He is the author of the book Extraterrestrial: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth, and is the co-founder and head of The Galileo Project, the stated goal of which is to “bring the search for extraterrestrial technological signatures of Extraterrestrial Technological Civilizations (ETCs) from accidental or anecdotal observations and legends to the mainstream of transparent, validated and systematic scientific research.”
If you want more of a sense of who Loeb is, Lex Fridman did an in-depth podcast with him a couple years back that was very interesting. You can see that right here:
As the Grusch story was breaking on Sunday, Loeb was preparing to leave for an expedition in waters somewhere off the coast of Australia, with the aim of discovering “whether the first recognized interstellar meteor, IM1, was a craft from an extraterrestrial civilization.”
IM1 is an interstellar meteor that was detected entering earth’s atmosphere on a trajectory for the South Pacific in January of 2014. Loeb and co. are combing the bottom of the ocean in the crash zone looking for fragments — one of which is the aforementioned wire composed of an “anomalous” alloy — and is documenting his expedition at The Debrief. The parts that are available are linked below:

Thanks Joe! People have been throwing around the term "ontological shock" with regard to the effect testimony and information on UAPs has been having on many. I like it and believe it describes what a lot of us are feeling. It's very understandable that many folks close their minds around knee jerk skepticism. Reality does not seem to be what any of us expected or wanted. May the God I still believe in help us to make peace with what is.
