This is the right move and I’m interested in reading practicality anything you write!

Consolidation makes sense to me; I enjoy reading your thoughts on all those topics, but I get why you created two different substacks. I hope this one takes off even more.

I’m SUPER excited about a podcast! Definitely keep us in the loop about that!

Hi Steve, I happily? Subscribed to both, but one is better. You are one voice.

I'm glad to hear this news—long live The Skojec File! When you announced Black Sheep, I was worried you might be overextending yourself, but I didn't want to rain on your parade. But I thoroughly enjoyed the writing you did there, so I'm thrilled to hear it's all coming back under one roof.

I'm also excited to hear you'll be bringing back all those 'weird' subjects you used to write about here. As I believe I've opined previously, write what you're passionate about, and trust that the rest will take care of itself. If I might be indulged a slight repurposing of a line from one of my favorite movies, let me say (in my best James Earl Jones voice), "People will come, Steve. People will most definitely come."

Speaking of 'weird' subjects, have you read Lue Elizondo's 'Imminent'? It's on my short list of next things to read. I'd love to hear your take on it if you have.

As a final note, and I know I've said this before, you really do need to start putting most of your writing behind the paywall. Your writing is worth paying for. Admit it. Say it. And repeat as necessary until you believe it.

It's time for people to pony up the $5 bucks a month or so if they want the goods. As the old bumper sticker goes, "Ass, Gas or Cash—Nobody Rides for Free!"

LOL! You killed me with that last line.

And yeah, one of the biggest things that happened to me when my life imploded was a massive loss of self-confidence. I need to believe in the content, and they will come.

I have done the audiobook of imminent. I want to read it again in text form and I should probably put up a review.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Incidentally, I've seen that bumper sticker with my own eyes!
