I am fully aware that I am overdue for some real writing time, but hot diggity has life been busy lately, and that means my Substack is becoming the unofficial clearinghouse for MTS episodes.
I promise, I am going to MAKE TIME to write.
Yesterday, I put roughly 18 hours into the latest episode, though, from show prep to recording to post-production and editing and today will be promo work on all the available social platforms. I went to bed at 5AM this morning and I’m a little punch drunk and about to go head out to grab coffee with my daughter, who is in town this week. But before I do that, let me tell you what’s been going on.
On Tuesday night, Kale Zelden and I were also invited to go on Avoiding Babylon with my old pal Anthony Abbate and his co-host, “Catholic Rob.” We had a great time, a lot of laughs, and an interesting dive into the topics of Aliens and UAPs and AI and where they all seem to meet in the middle. If you’d like to see that, it’s here:
For this week’s episode of MTS, we did our promised deep dive into the most recent appearance of David Grusch, the former Air Force Major and US Intelligence officer who was tasked with investigating secret UFO-related programs inside the Department of Defense and related agencies.
Grusch has now come forward and said he’s seen videos within the classified setting of a UFO crash with non-human bodies. He’s been told stories by colleagues he trusts about battles between various species of non-human intelligence AND battles between US military personnel and some of those species.
I know it sounds crazy, but that’s why this conversation is necessary. Very serious people with impeccable credentials are saying astonishing things with no obvious benefit to themselves other than their commitment to get the truth out, and that demands to be taken seriously on its own terms.
And just this week, Grusch’s former boss, Jay Stratton, a man with over 32 years of military and government service who was the top man in identifying aerospace threats for the Department of War and spent over 16 years in an official capacity investigating UAPs for the government released his memoir, Out of the Shadows: Revealing the Truth About Non-Human Intelligent Life.
I’m five chapters in and fascinated. Again, very sober people with distinguished careers are saying things that sound absolutely kooky if you filter them through the lens of normalcy bias — which is why we have to adjust our epistemology to try to account for what’s going on.
Here’s Jay on Special Report With Bret Baier earlier this week:
So this week’s episode taps into all of this, as Kale and I try to make sense out of how normal people with jobs and families and religious beliefs and a healthy dose of skepticism for wild claims should approach all of this.
I even include footage I took in 2023 of my own UFO experience.
I’ll be writing more about these topics as I wrestle more time away from my other duties because this is important, it’s ongoing, and it’s seemingly building to a crescendo.
The episode is live now:
As always, you can grab the audio-only version right here or from your favorite podcast provider.
