There's a zinger to liven up my Friday morning: "individuals for whom sound reasoning is a bit of a stretch." Lol.
It makes a body reflect. I think my default feeling is, "There's more we aren't being told," which is subtly different from, "This is all a fabrication." Working for the government myself, I do tend to feel that your rank and file are pretty trustworthy and are reasonably competent in general. It isn't an efficient use of energy for everything to be a fabrication. That said... my paranoia kicks in again as I reflect that the sum of sequestered knowledge, if we were to suddenly download it telepathically, might well render the world unrecognizable to us in the twinkling of an eye.
100%. I have family members who view nearly every event as the result of some intelligence agency chess move. It’s exhausting. We should all be more humble and also remember Occam’s razor. The simplest explanation for an event is usually the correct one.
That's my statement of personal discernment on something I've spent enough time with to be convinced is real. And it has nothing to do with a conspiracy, but with a supernatural (used loosely here, as in "outside the known bounds of nature") phenomenon.
If people weren't convinced that there was something to study in a situation like the Telepathy Tapes, they wouldn't bother doing the research.
A similar thing happens with UAPs. As the notoriously skeptical Eric Weinstein said back in 2022, "There is zero in the way of a persuasive case for aliens based on publicly available hard data, and there is a mountain of indirect evidence of the bizarre that we can’t seem to resolve."
He's come further in his position since then. He's made clear that the anecdotal evidence is too widespread, too consistent, and too alarming to simply dismiss. But as a scientist, he wants to lay hands on ships and bodies -- or at least data taken from them.
We can't always have that. So it is with the Telepathy Tapes. I spent 15 hours listening to those (I listened to the first five episodes twice) and I see no way for everything represented in them to have been faked. In fact, to do so would have required a much more elaborate conspiracy than for them to have been real. We have to weigh the one against the other.
It also happens to be POWERFUL, in a way that true things often are. I received an email from a reader who had long since lost his faith in God, but who listened to the Telepathy Tapes and found himself moved to tears and experiencing a surge of hope. He said that TT "has allowed me to hope again and wonder and believe that possibly God is love and you and I and all the rest are really worthy of love despite our failings and that this can all be turned around."
Now, when it comes to current events, I share gut feelings and instincts fairly often. Many (not all) of them turn out to be correct. For example, I said that the Vegas Cybertruck explosion was linked to the New Orleans attack in the first moments after it happened, before any connecting information had been released. I made connections with intuition faster than I could assemble facts.
Not everything comes down to empiricism.
This is why I advocate for RESPONSIBLE conspiracy theorism. Use pattern recognition. Look for obvious falsehoods - like your theory relying on a technology that simply doesn't exist. Collect known facts and analyze the information that is created in the negative space between them. Constantly check your tentative conclusions against what is known. Be willing to admit that you may be wrong.
If we wait for everything to be released in a congressional report or a peer reviewed journal, we're not only never going to know a great many things, but life is going to be significantly more tedious than it actually is.
I'll be lucky to have 40 years left on this planet. I don't want to waste it playing it 100% safe when I could be pursuing wonder and fascination.
Well, I have a lot of articles on the 2020 steal, but I think it's rude to post them in your comment section. I will try to mail you a few, as time permits, for your consideration. For instance, I have a trove of articles on the fact that Feds were involved in Jan 6. But sit back and ask yourself: who is Ray Epps? He's an indicator variable, a big one. Similarly, how is it that 7 million Democratic voters vanished between 2020 and 2024? Do you find it strange that 5 swing states simultaneously stopped vote counting at the stroke of midnight on Nov 3, 2020 (unprecedented, and immediately objected to by President Trump, who said "the eleciton is now being stolen" (which IMO it WAS)? Do you find it credible that Biden, who was already a known "botherer" of children (especially little girls) and largely incoherent throughout the campaign (and telling whoppers all the time) won more votes than Obama--that he won 81 million votes--a man who could not fill the "rallies" with supporters much of the time?
I will send you an American Conservative article by a poly sci professor who says by all historical norms, Trump almost certainly won in 2020. But sit back and think about it. Do you find it odd that Biden said he and Obama were running a huge voter fraud operation on live TV just before the election? 25 second video, still up on youtube. i will not post it unless you request it. That's called "omen". Yes, G-d wanted to set the record straight. He's helpful that way sometimes. Like having a person turn his head centimeters which saved his life and the nation.
On CV, Zero Hedge had it all from day 1, and was therefore banned from Twitter. The post is too long. Many many articles on CV being lab-grown. Fauci was funding Wuhan Lab illegally through Ecohealth. This has all come out in Senator Rand Paul investigation (where Fauci lied--of course), but Paul isn't through with Fauci. Wait into RFK Jr gets in--much of this will be aired out. Whether the DS players involved with CV will ever be brought to justice is another matter.

But what if "I’m morally certain that it’s true. All of it. Sometimes you just know things, and I know this is real. I can’t explain it."?
You're sending mixed signals.
