I'm only about half way though but we disagree on this one a lot more.

The problem with aliens isn't that they may come from some other star system and all the implications of that, it's what the aliens will tell us about our own religions. Presumably they will come telling us how to evolve to a higher level, and to do that we need to leave behind our superstitious beliefs. They will come bearing wonderful technology and tell us to join them. They are here to help us.

But what do you do if they specifically say they sent Jesus to us? What do you do if they say we misunderstood Jesus? What do you do if they say scriptures have it wrong? Even more, what do you do when you catch them lying?

I don't think they came from some other star system because I don't think that's possible. Too many things have to be perfect for it to work. For me, the perfection of Earth shows God has been directly involved with us. Which is why Jesus was sent to us. Whatever the NHIs are, they are not evolved biological creatures from some other planet, though I presume they will fool people into thinking that's what they are.

Just watch for the lies. Satan's side always lies.

I was surprised by your take that God's side has lost and Satan has won. That assumes you know what the "game" is. Jesus didn't seem concerned that many were headed for destruction. He seemed to accept that's the way we are. He's given us a choice, and left it up to us.

Did the father of the prodigal son go out looking for his son? Why not? He seemed to really love his son when he returned, and yet he did nothing to bring him back. For me, that's the clear picture of the way God is. He lets us leave if that's what we want. He'll take us back if we come to our senses.

The "game" isn't numbers. It's beauty.

We're beautiful to Him when we return. We're beautiful when we stay with Him. We're beautiful when we believe in Him - especially when it's hard, as it was with Job.

I don't really concern myself with what they might say. At this point in time, I'm trying to understand a mystery phenomenon that more and more whistleblowers are saying comes from nonhuman intelligence. I don't assume they're even interested in revealing themselves to us, or they likely would have done so by now.

If, later, they do, and they say things about religion, or whatever, I'd evaluate that at the time.

But remember, too, that religion itself is something we take almost purely on testimonial evidence. As Catholics, we're taught to believe that the things the Church teaches are "revealed by God, who can neither deceive nor be deceived," but God hasn't said a word to me about revelation. I got all that from books that people wrote down. I'm not nearly as certain as many others are that it's inerrant, complete, etc.

"I was surprised by your take that God's side has lost and Satan has won."

Context matters here. I said that if the majority of souls go to hell, God lost and Satan won.

I think that's undeniable. If God made us to be with him, if Satan is not free to roam the earth without God's permission, and yet Satan wins over the vast majority of souls and God does not, what does that tell you about each of them?

The "aliens" have been telling people stuff for a long time - which includes the stuff about Jesus. Maybe that's misinformation, but it's abundant. Interestingly, not only does the Collins Elite think there are demons behind this stuff, but the current people pushing disclosure are arguing that it is people like them preventing it. In other words, they acknowledge these people exist and that they believe what they do. But the "Collins Elite" are the people who have access to what's really known about the aliens. If insiders can come to that conclusion, maybe we should be more cautious about this.

The fact that the aliens don't reveal themselves shows us something. Or why do their spaceships crash so much? Or why are people who use occult practices able to communicate with them? There's a lot of things that don't add up with them being just extraterrestrials from some other planet.

You're assuming things with what God is up to. Scripture seems pretty clear to me that He is looking for a bride for His Son. If you're a Father looking for a bride for your Son, the point is not numbers. In fact, it's the forge that purifies the bride and makes her beautiful.

God whispers. So does Satan. God does it to birth faith. Satan does it to birth doubt.

For me, the scientific evidence (the Rare Earth evidence) is that God created the entire universe just to have this planet with us on it. If you went to all the trouble to make a universe to have a single planet, it's only reasonable that you would provide something that explains what you're up to. That's scripture. It explains everything. Just think of Jesus on that road to Emmaus. He showed them that it was all there. It was missed for centuries, but it was there. For anyone willing to look.

You don't hide things in plain sight like that if you're going for numbers. You do it when you're searching the Earth for who will notice.

I had a dream last night. Unlike any dream I've ever had. It really woke me up - and I don't even know what it means. It's hard to dismiss it as my own dream. If anything, it was a serious warning of deception. I literally had a gong sound at the end that woke me up, and yet I was still in the dream where I saw a man being levitated off the ground - but it wasn't pretty.

We think the aliens are bringing us good things. Instead, they're bringing lies.
